Competition Time!

Hi Photosoc!

I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer break! Some of you may remember that last year we held a competition to choose the photos to be used on our membership keyrings. As we’re going to need to update our keyrings for the new year and we had so many lovely entries last time, we’d like to ask you to help us out once again!

If you have some photos of the university or Sheffield that you think would look great on our keyrings please send them to us at shefuniphotosoc@gmail.com with the subject ‘Keyring Competition’.

• You can submit up to 4 photos
• The deadline is Sunday 30th of August

If you don’t have any photos of the university or Sheffield, don’t fear! We’d still love to see what you’ve gotten up to over the break so continue posting your photos to the group! As I mentioned during the AGM, I want to start a regular competition to get your awesome photos on display on our notice board so if you want to submit images for this as well, email them to shefuniphotosoc@gmail.com with the subject ‘Noticeboard Competition’. The deadline for this will be 1st October so you have plenty of time for this one.

Much love and happy snapping!

Alumni Exhibition

Hi Guys!

Were currently looking to set up a small exhibition for the alumni foundation to display the sort of work photosoc members produce to say thank you for the generous funding that they offer us. Because of this we would love it if all of you could send in a photo (just one please) that you would be happy to have displayed in firth court on Thursday, also you will be welcome to pick up your print in all it’s glory after the exhibition has finished, i.e. at the next meeting.

Unfortunately we can’t print off reams and reams of photo’s for this so we’re limiting it to the first 50 applicants that we get, with a final deadline of 4pm on monday.

Please send all entries in an attachment as a reply to this email please.

So with no time to loose, get searching for your chosen photo to send in!
