It’s almost Christmas, but there’s still plenty happening with Photosoc!
As hopefully most of you know now, the Varsity exhibition is this weekend, Sunday 3pm to 9pm at Varsity bar on West Street. Even if you’ve not entered anything, please come along and show your support for your fellow photographers. There’ll be drinks available at the bar and free nibbles, and you can get some ideas and inspiration for your own photography too!
We’re having a bit of a quieter social (well, with less drinking anyway) in the form of some bowling! It’s on the 3rd December, starting at 7pm and it’ll be £6 for 2 games with a student discount (please remember your UCard) and you need £3 for the tram. We’ll be going for drinks afterwards.
Photosoc has been invited to the opening of the “Comedians from the 1940s to now” exhibition on Thursday 6-8pm. We’ll be meeting at the War Memorial / City Hall at 5:40pm, but if you want to come and haven’t already told us, please email us so we can give them up-to-date numbers! If you can’t find us, call Beckie (07907874892).
Entries for the “Friends” theme are now closed, and we’re going to start voting online, as well a discussion/critique on the photos. We’ll have more on discussion and critique after Christmas, but for now vote on the photos for this theme here (and post any feedback you have).
Weekly Competition (New Theme)
The next theme is going to be “Lines, lines, everywhere lines”. Get shooting!
