We've worked over the summer to determine how we can continue to operate our typical activities, in line with the social distancing rules that may still be in place over the coming academic year. This page will be updated as information changes.
Our society usually hosts fortnightly activities. Over the past academic year, these have included photo walks, trips and workshops. We are now hoping to conduct our activities remotely.
In the weeks between these activities, we would usually meet in one of The Diamond's lecture theatres. We're currently awaiting guidance from the university about continued usage of these facilities. For now, we're going to be hosting these on our Discord Server.
We have plans in place to continue darkroom usage, darkroom inductions and equipment loans safely, however we are currently unable to access the darkroom due to COVID-19 regulations in place at the SU. You can find more information about darkroom usage here.
During this difficult time it is important that, as societies, we support each other. We have contacted a range of other societies to develop collaborative activities that we can conduct remotely. These will appear on our events page when they are finalised. If you're involved in a student-run society, feel free to contact us.
