[PhotoSoc] Jobs Update (including an urgent one)

Dear Fellow PhotoSoc Members,

1. The School of Law is running the finals of the Internal Moot and require someone to photograph the event:

The event happens at Bartolome House on Wednesday 11th December between 5pm and 7pm and a photographer is required to take a few official photos throughout the event and the prize giving at the end.  The job reward is negotiable.

2. [Urgent] The School of Law’s Human Rights Forum (https://www.facebook.com/events/240325166132038/?fref=ts) will be held this Wednesday from 2-7, and they are looking for a photographer.
This would be a voluntary work but would be a brilliant opportunity for anyone wishing to expand on their portfolios given the high profile nature of the event – plus free cake and wine will be provided!!!

3. Sheffield Hallam Architecture Society and Sharc are holding a Winter Ball on the 31st of Jan 2014 and are looking for a photographer.
They need someone for maybe two or three hours and would only need the digital copies of the photos.  The photographer can be offered the price of a ball ticket which is £40 for their time (or you are welcome to have the 3 course meal!)

4. The university Medic’s Orchestra is having a Christmas concert and  hoping to hire a photographer to take pictures on the night.

The concert is on Friday 13th of December at St Marks church and they’d like the photographer from around 7pm to 10pm at the latest.  The job will involve taking pictures during the concert, pictures of the different sections of the orchestra and maybe a few walking round during the interval.  They pay is around £20-30 and negotiable.
