The Natural History Society invites you to take part in the ‘University of Sheffield Wildlife Photographer the Year 2010’ competition!
The competition is open to all staff and students at the University of Sheffield, and is divided into 6 categories:
- Plant life
- Animal Portrait
- Animal Behaviour
- Ecology in Action
- Nature & Society
- Communities & Ecosystems
Prizes (kindly donated by HARRISON CAMERAS of London Rd.) will be awarded for the winner of each category, the overall winner and runner-up, the best portfolio (all 6 categories) and the peoples’ choice (determined by a public vote at The Exhibition on Dec 9th).
There will be a small entry fee of £1.50 per photo (£1 for NatHistSoc members), or £7.50 for 6 photos (£5 for NatHistSoc members).
There’s no minimum standard – remember you don’t need to be a pro! Just have fun…
